Constitution Day

Constitution Day is September 17! 🇺🇸

Each year, schools across the country recognize the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787. Constitution Day provides an opportunity for students to explore the Constitution, our system of government, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has shared several free resources to help educators plan meaningful learning experiences:

📚 U.S. Department of Education – Constitution Day & Citizenship Day

📜 National Archives – Constitution Day Resources

🏛️ iCivics – Constitution Day

🇺🇸 National Constitution Center – Constitution Day Resources

These free K–12 resources can help educators bring the Constitution to life and encourage students to better understand the principles that continue to shape our nation.
