Online Courses for Students in Grades 7-12

As a service to Ohio school districts and their students, the Fairfield County ESC offers a catalog of high-quality, standards-aligned, and NCAA-accredited online courses for students in grades 6-12.

As an extension of the service, the ESC offers a summer school program that provides access to the courses and Ohio-licensed teachers of record for a per-course fee.

📅 Summer School Schedule & Deadlines

  • Each session is equivalent to one semester.

  • One Summer Session for PE and Early IT: June 2 - June 27, 2025

  • Two Summer Sessions for All Other InnevAto EDU Courses:

    • Session 1: June 2 - June 13, 2025

    • Session 2: June 16 - June 27, 2025

  • Enrollment Deadlines:

    • PE/Early IT Session: June 2, 2025

    • Session 1: June 2, 2025

    • Session 2: June 16, 2025

💰 Course Options & Pricing

  • The InnevAto EDU Course Catalog offers a wide range of summer school courses for students in grades 7-12. All courses are online, aligned with Ohio Learning Standards, and taught by Ohio-certified teachers.

  • In addition to the InnevAto EDU catalog of courses, the introductory course through the University of Cincinnati's Early IT program is also available to take during summer school. The course is IT1080 Fundamentals of IT.

  • The fee is per semester course, which includes access to the online course plus an Ohio-licensed teacher of record:

    • 1 course: $395

    • 2 courses: $695

    • 3 courses: $995

    • 4 courses:$1,295

  • Students may enroll in up to two courses per session.

  • Students should expect to spend 4-6 hours per day, per course to stay on pace.

📚 How Courses Work

  • Courses are high-quality and align to Ohio and national learning standards. They are also NCAA accredited.

  • Students must begin coursework at the start of the session and make consistent progress throughout.

  • All course materials, assignments, and assessments are included within the course itself. No extra books or licenses required.

  • Teachers monitor student progress and will intervene with support as needed.

  • Students can work at their own pace within the session timeframe, but they must stay on track to complete the course by the end of the session.

👩‍🏫 Teacher & Technical Support

  • All summer school courses are taught by InnevAto EDU Ohio-certified teachers of record.

  • Teachers will primarily communicate through email, course announcements, and course messaging.

  • Students have the option to schedule virtual meetings for support, as needed.

  • Technical support is available through a dedicated help desk.

💻 Technology Requirements & Accessibility

  • Courses are offered from the InnevAto EDU catalog for grades 7-12.

  • Additionally, the UC Early IT Fundamentals of IT course is offered.

  • Students must have access to their own working device (laptop, desktop, iPad) and a reliable internet connection. No additional resources are required.

  • All courses include built-in accessibility tools, such as read-aloud and dictionary features, as well as translation support.

  • All courses have integrated personalized learning support tools, including virtual tutoring, flashcards, and practice questions.

  • Parents must submit documentation to provide necessary accommodations for IEPs and 504 Plans.

📝 Registration Process & Required Documentation

  1. Complete the online registration form (linked below) and upload the required School District Online Course Credit Approval form.

  2. Receive a confirmation email with a payment link and information.

  3. Submit payment online or by check (via US mail or in-person at the Fairfield County ESC office). Payment must be received in order for registration to be complete and student to be enrolled in the course.

  4. Once payment is received, enrollment is confirmed, and students will receive course access details.
