The Fairfield County District Library is a continuous learning center which enriches our community by inspiring choices for reading, entertainment, and lifelong learning which are free and accessible to all, with an emphasis on excellence in customer service.

The Fairfield County Library provides Early Literacy Centers for children: 

Early Literacy Centers (ELCs) are interactive play spaces that encourage learning through play. The spaces are designed especially for children ages birth to six and their caregivers.

They currently have three ELC locations:

• Main Library

• Northwest Branch Library in Carroll

• Bremen Branch in Bremen.
